Culture of Peace through Education contributes to be one of the most effective educational efforts for the transition of Peace along the upcoming future, which can be done through building peace groups sharing same interest in peace education curriculum focuses on creating long-term Culture of Peace and not only preventing the reoccurrence and settlement of old existing challenges.
This year the IDP will enhance these concepts through interactive workshops, as we will be able to access Youth through direct interaction and discussion, forming a common definition to Peace and how it can be applicable in life. Moreover, the process of Peace Building will continue to develop towards nonviolence among children of the world.
Following to the planned workshops, Peace Concert and during the concert there will be a Peace Stand Group under which young people will have the benefit of a virtual participation among several others to stand for creating a Culture of Peace, ending Violence and promoting Social Integration, also there will be charity booths and exhibition for the Children’s Cancer Hospital.
During the campaign, Culture of Peace Contest will accept contributions from all interested people, to express their opinions in writing (articles, Blogging and poetry from young people), art gallery for artistic expression and Podcast about Culture of Peace, under theme (Youth & Peace Education to Build Peace)
The Campaign will be hosted by WupY, published through WupY pages and forwarded among different target youth with the help of respectable partners.
