Proposed Activities:
- Culture of Peace Hour in UNESCO Clubs, Clubs of Council of Europe, in high schools from Chisinau, Anenii Noi
- March of Peace Volunteers at City Hall, Government, Presidential Palace
- Contest: poetry, song – We are singing the Peace
- Circle of Peace in The Place of Great National Assembly
On 21 September WOTC will develop the March of Volunteers for Peace, where will participate 2011 young volunteers, members of partner NGOs (WOTC, Clubs of Council of Europe, European Academy of Civil Society, Moldavian Federation of UNESCO Clubs, Young Journalists Agency AMP International, Little Prince Magazine, Newspaper Children of Europe). These young people will create a live chain between our headquarters and the Parliament of Moldova, with 2 branches to Government and City Hall. To all 3 destinations will be sent, from hand to hand, the message of young volunteers promoters of culture of peace and non violence, a message written by the participants at this march, placed in a large envelope (1000 x 700 mm). After the march the participants will gather on Classic Writers Alley from Central Park where for a few hours will be performed poems and songs dedicated to peace.
