Lok Vehar is planning to organize an activity with teachers, students and parents on International Peace Day 23^rd September 2011. We are planning to conduct such activity for the continuity of peace promotion process among the new buds of the nation students and society makers’ teachers * One day activity with Teachers, students and Parents

In the contemporary Pakistan’s society is simply divided in to religious classes and sect. different raged communities are using this situation to destroy the peace of our country. Pakistan is facing its history’s terrible problems of terrorism lack of passions and social harmony among the different social and religious communities. People don’t have opportunities and platforms to sit together for the most possible salutation of the heated situation in Pakistan.

There is a great need to bring them on one common platform beside the religious backgrounds. Students are the clay in the hand of teachers and parents are their first teachers, if they come on the same platform for the peace building among the people of different faiths it could be helpful effort for the peace process which is the daring need of the society. Students, teachers and parents will be able to get the thought of peace through this peace activity.

Lok Vehar wants to organize a peace promotion projects exhibition among the students, When they create an idea for their project they will think about the peace what it is, why its needed, if we have it what will be the situation of the society. They will consult it with their teachers, parents and elders of the society. Through this peace idea will follow in the society which could be the seed of peace. We are planning to give badges of peace seeds to all participants of the activity for the remembrance of the peace activity. This activity will be organized in the farm of peace amass

Lok Vehar is strongly likened with the local community, youth members, schools, teachers and students in the concept of peace promotion activities at grassroots level. We are already working for the peace promotion in the society with the collaboration Action Aid, Christian Study Center Otawa Sikh Society since 2007 in two districts Sri Nankana Sahib and Faisalabad.

Objectives:

• To promote interfaith and peace culture through teachers and students to bring unity and harmony among people of different faiths.
• To provide the basic knowledge of religions for better understanding  among the people of different faiths

Outcomes:

•  Teachers, Students and their parents will get peace shearing platform and they will think about the dire need of the peace in the society.
• Peace need thought will be boosted at family level.
